If you prefer to travel by road to Warsaw, you have the option of travelling by coach or by car.
By coach:
Coach travel has become increasingly less popular since the arrival of budget airlines which travel daily to Warsaw from the UK and Ireland. However, coach travel is still a comfortable option for those who prefer not to fly. Tickets cost approximately the same as a cheap flight and the journey time is on average about 27 hours. By car:
You might decide to make the journey to Poland by car. You will need a full UK or Irish driving licence, valid MOT and foreign travel car insurance - we recommend fully comprehensive. You will need to check with your insurer that your insurance adequately covers foreign travel.
The road distance from London to Warsaw is approximately 1,000 miles and the journey is likely to take about 20 hours, plus sea crossing and breaks.
